RUSTY LANTERN CABINS

Our Accommodation's for the weekend

Located near Juniper, Rusty Lantern Cabins are situated on the bank of the Clearwater Brook. Stayed two nights and had a great time at this rustic and cozy cabin.

The start of this trip begins on the North Branch Southwest Miramichi River, South of Juniper Airport, and a couple hundred meters North of the railway bridge crossing the river.

Off load canoes, time to shuttle a truck to end point.

Trip runs approximately 9.7 km.

First leg of trip, about 5.8 km, is down the North Branch Southwest Miramichi River, this section is very slow and meandering. A lot of cottages along this section.

Second leg of trip as we enter the Southwest Miramichi River is about 3.9 km, this section is fairly straight, slow and wide. A lot of large rocks along this section, visible, easy to get by.

The end of a beautiful day of paddling, blue sky's, a warm June day and cold refreshments. Life is Good.
